Computer Aided Molecular Design (CAMD) is an interdisciplinary technology among BT, NT, and IT
and
it becomes an
essential technology for both academic researches and industrial developments.
Especially it contributes much for drug discovery and development and functional material
development fields.
Bioinformatics and Molecular Design Research Center (BMDRC) was founded in 1997 through the
passionate
support and collaboration of many peoples in scientific institutes, companies,
and universities.
We are mainly working on developing CAMD technologies including S/Ws, drug design, material design,
ADME toxicity prediction, PK prediction, environmental toxicology, cosmetic material design,
and operate
several levels of
CAMD training courses for industry and academic researchers.
Due to the constant effort of BMDRC researchers and outside collaborators, we attained world top level
in several of
CAMD technology fields and are ready for international collaboration and are start to
provde
new technologies to industries.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to those who devoted themselves to the development
and
spread CAMD technologies in Korea.
